FORTY GO MAD IN DORSET

Forty Go Mad in Dorset was a fortieth birthday party with a difference. An Enid Blyton - themed invitation and itinerary had the bus pick up guests outside Sherborne Abbey at midday sharp, and transport them down to Studland on the Dorset Coast.

Here the party disembarked for a dingy ride down the beach and a picnic and games before getting back on the bus and heading to St Albans Head, where the Marquee and camping area was set up, dinner served, and live music was on hand to keep the party going well into the night. The next day a full breakfast at camp preceded a bus ride to Wareham, rowing boats on the river and a morning dip.

Another picnic, a pint at Dorset’s prizewinning finest hostelry, sightseeing over the lost village of Tyneham, and more fun and frolics in the afternoon sun before heading back exhausted for the last train to London!


THE LAY-BY PARTY

After twenty five years of extravagant celebration, this local tradition has a truly unique character. Dressed to impress, three generations of sophisticated eccentrics gather at Sherborne’s Digby Tap pub.

Our Big Red Bus provides a luxurious and charismatic service befitting such an occasion. Arriving at Cerne Abbas lay-by, a sumptuous buffet is served with champagne, priming revellers for their annual ascent of the Giant.

CHALLENGE ROGER

This Surprise 60th birthday party conducted as a mystery tour and treasure hunt around London combined fancy dress, quiz questions and seeing the sights to make a truly memorable day out for all involved.

The party started with a champagne rendezvous in Hyde Park before the sign painted bus arrived to surprise the Birthday boy and guests. The party bus then set off around London with stops to complete challenges, break for lunch etc before ending up at a pub by the river to coincide with an air display.
