Festival bus hire

Big Red Bus Image

Providing a shuttle bus from the local train station to the site helps present an aesthetically pleasing and viable eco-friendly alternative to driving to the festival; and a far safer alternative to driving home.

Our Big Red Buses aim to meet all trains at the designated station to ensure the smoothest possible transition to your event, and to help the party start long before your customers hit the site.

When requested our Big Red Buses can be run on recycled cooking oil to keep in line with the ethos of your event. We can also provide a wrist-banding service so that bus users beat the queues when they arrive at the gates.

Below is a list of current and past festivals we have been involved with. In some instances the festival pays for a free shuttle to be provided, whilst for others a fare is charged to users of the registered service. For bigger events our fleet is expanded, by using local operators wherever possible. For information about using the Big Red Buses for your event please get in touch

SUNRISE CELEBRATION - (3-6th June) Bruton, Somerset

Sunrise photoWe have worked alongside sunrise festival for the past 6 years providing a shuttle service from the local station to the festival. This encourages the eco-friendly attendees of this festival, powered by 100% renewable energy, to leave their cars at home. This year the big red bus will be used to transport people onto site from Bruton train station on the Thursday and Friday, and back to the station on the Sunday and Monday, as well as providing a shopping service into the village to stock up on supplies.

FESTIVALS OF THE PAST:

THE BIG GREEN GATHERING

Sunrise photo The Big Green Gathering is where it all began for The Big Red Bus festival shuttle service. We took over from a local operator who didn’t really understand about festivals in 1996. Catching the Big Red Bus to the Big Green Gathering continued until the festival unfortunately ceased to be, at least for the time being.

HOP FARM FESTIVAL

Sunrise photoLast year The Big Red Bus provided a free shuttle from the local station to the Hop Farm Festival in Kent, allowing the number of cars being driven to the site to be hugely reduced.

Our Customers Say

“We had an amazing day out. Why have a party in one place when you can travel around on a bus. We hired a bus for the day, having planned a route around London, stopping for lunch and at attractions. The guests were all ages from 7 to 70, but everyone had an unforgettable time” Richard Garner, London
